Greetings and Congratulations on NJTS’s 30th Anniversary and for your role in establishing NJTS as a premier Tamil Sangam in USA. NJTS’s partnership with Tamil Nadu Foundation (TNF), the largest and oldest U.S.- based non-profit solely focused on Tamil Nadu, illustrates NJTS’s multi-faceted contributions to the society over the past three decades. Following are a few highlights of NJTS’s contributions to the society in partnership with TNF:  NJTS Silver Jubilee Hostel Wing for destitute and underprivileged rural girls at Kasthuruba Gandhi Kanya Gurukulam in Vedaraniam, Nagapattinam District. NJTS celebrated its Silver Jubilee in a purpose-oriented manner by donating $50,000 for constructing a residential dormitory that will empower generations of orphaned, single- parent and destitute girls in rural Tamil Nadu. This project is very apt to your 30thAnniversary theme “மணணின் மங்கயர நேற்று, இன்று, நாளை”. We encourage you visit the Gurukulam and experience the positive impact NJTS continues to have on the lively hoods of these young and promising girls! Dear New Jersey Tamil Sangam Community,  Cyclone Gaja: NJTS donated $5,000 through TNF to provide immediate relief and organize health camps for Cyclone Gaja victims in Thiruvarur and Nagapattinam districts in November 2018  Chennai/Cuddalore: Floods NJTS donated $34,292 to uplift the victims of 2015 floods and the funds were used for the following projects:  Renovation of gypsy community hall in Kattupakkam village, Minjur Block, Thiruvallur district, to provide employment for 55 gypsy families  Renovation of flood devastated Government Schools in Thaiyaikunampattinam, Thangalikuppam, Peiyakattupalayam, Kattandikuppam and Sithalikuppam in Cuddalore district  Construction of 5 new houses for hut dwellers in C. Sathamangam village in Cuddalore district  ABC Education initiative that empowers of students studying in government schools in Tamil Nadu by enabling them to Achieve grade level proficiency, Boost their morale and Champion for their higher aspirations, and Kanavagam, a home for நியூ ஜெர்சி தமிழ்ச் சங்கம் 30 ஆம் ஆண்டு விழா மலர் 70
